I'm so glad you're here! I've always been fascinated by the power of the female body. Naturally, I love everything about pregnancy and birth! I have vivid memories of watching "A Baby Story" on TLC when I was in elementary school! Even as a child, I was totally invested in the tenacity of mothers during birth and the unparalleled joy of families meeting their baby for the first time.

 

When I had my daughter, I was a thousand miles away from my "village" and I learned the hard way how difficult it is to go through birth and, especially postpartum, alone. I've now made it my mission to educate, advocate, and hold space for women during this most precious time in their life. While pregnancy is a passion, I recognize the importance of community amongst women in all of life's stages. On this page, you will find stories from my personal journey through life as a woman paired with resources and services to help women navigate their way through all the stages of womanhood. It is incredibly important to me to create a safe space and to build a sense of community through Destynie Speaks!
