Spreading vulnerability through genuine connection
Hi, I'm Destynie
I am married and we have one sweet, rainbow baby girl! I consider myself a highly sensitive empath! This allows me to feel what other people feel in very deep and meaningful ways. This means that I experience both the joy and pain that other people feel. I believe that vulnerability can be empowering and healing when used correctly. This is especially true for me as a complex trauma survivor! I've always been fascinated by the power within the female body so, naturally, I love everything about pregnancy and birth! I am in the process of becoming a childbirth educator and doula. I created this page to provide a platform to share my personal journey while also helping women navigate their way through pregnancy (& loss), birth, postpartum stages.
DIY BELLY BUTTER
There was a lot of trial and error but, in the end, I found a skincare routine that worked well for me. After I gave birth, I noticed stretched skin but very few dark stretch marks on my belly. I contribute this result to the cream I used during my entire pregnancy. Check out the instructions on how to make this belly butter below.
